Humans may have lost natural instinct along with other physical attributes that enabled primitive hominids to exist in the wild but we created tools! That opposable thumb picked up a rock to use as a tool and never stopped. This body of work pays homage to the many tools big and small, that we use on a daily basis without a second thought. Creating imprints of these tools and painting the resulting print in traffic yellow to push the viewer to stop and give the humble tool a deeper thought.
